Al Jazeera reported visual evidence indicating that at least one projectile directly struck the roof of the wedding venue and that several other residential buildings were also damaged. A telecommunications tower near the shoreline was separately struck and destroyed. U.S. Central Command said the reports of civilian casualties originated from Iranian state media and reiterated that the U.S. military does not target civilians. No publicly available evidence reviewed for this profile establishes that the residential property hosting the wedding was itself a military objective.
