Strike on Arefeh Girls’ Middle School, Khomein

On March 8, 2026, Arefeh Girls’ Middle School, serving students in the first cycle of secondary education, was among the educational facilities in Khomein damaged during the U.S.-Israeli attacks of the War. The Markazi provincial school-renovation authority later reported that the school had been completely destroyed. A subsequent report by ILNA, citing the head of Khomein's Education Department, identified Arefeh as a girls’ first-cycle secondary school located next to Shaghayeq Elementary School and said that the school had sustained damage.
