Strike on Power Substation Near Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant

According to Bushehr provincial authorities, a power substation near the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant was struck on July 22, 2026. The strike damaged the electricity infrastructure and temporarily disrupted power supply to Bandargah Village in Bushehr County. Electricity distribution crews were dispatched to the site, and local officials reported that power was restored within approximately two hours. one security guard was killed.
