Third Strike Destroys Chabahar Maritime Traffic Control Tower

IRNA's field correspondent confirmed that the maritime traffic control tower at Chabahar's Shahid Kalantari Port was struck by US fighter jets for the third time this morning, and that on-site field observation confirmed the tower was completely destroyed — though port berths, equipment, and operational infrastructure were undamaged, and no casualties were reported. Mohammad Saeed Arbabi, director of the Chabahar Free Zone Organization, said the maritime traffic control tower was struck and damaged, and that a warehouse in the free zone was also targeted; he added that despite the strikes, port services and crisis-management operations continued, and that of 375 vehicles stored in the free zone's warehouse, 302 were evacuated to their owners within minutes of the strike through staff efforts.
