Strike on Desalination Facilities, Bonji Village Port, Jask

According to Hormozgan provincial authorities, power infrastructure and desalination pumps at the port of Bonji Village in Jask County were struck on July 18, 2026. Initial assessments indicated that the damage disrupted the drinking water supply to villages in western Jask County. Subsequent statements by local officials reported that approximately 20 villages experienced water outages following the strike. Emergency water distribution and repair operations were initiated while authorities assessed the extent of the damage and worked to restore the water supply.
