Airstrike on Iranshahr Airport Facilities

Salim Kadkhoda, deputy governor of Sistan and Baluchestan and special governor of Iranshahr, confirmed that around 00:30 local time, areas of Iranshahr were struck, with four loud explosions heard across the city. Field assessment determined that projectiles struck the airport's flight operations building and meteorology station, causing damage to both structures. Kadkhoda stated that emergency responders were immediately dispatched, and that, tragically, Khaled Ghaderi, on-duty personnel at the meteorology station, was killed in the incident. Firefighting and site-safety operations were underway with emergency personnel present. The Meteorological Organization's own provincial office (via a condolence statement, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari branch) identified him as "Engineer Khaled Ghaderi," a staff member of the Iranshahr Airport meteorology department.
