Strike on Water Storage Tanks in Bemani District, Sirik County

According to local authorities, two drinking water storage tanks in the Bemani District of Sirik County were struck in an overnight attack on June 10, 2026. The destroyed tanks had capacities of 500 cubic meters and 2,000 cubic meters and were part of the drinking water network serving Kuhestak and surrounding villages. Officials reported that the strike caused a widespread disruption to the water supply across the district, affecting all villages in the Bemani District.
