Second Strike on Chabahar Maritime Traffic Control Tower

According to the General Department of Ports and Maritime Administration of Sistan and Baluchestan Province, the Chabahar Maritime Traffic Control Tower was struck for a second time on July 15, 2026. Authorities reported structural damage to the tower but stated that there were no casualties or damage to operational equipment. Port authorities also confirmed that operations at Shahid Beheshti Port and Shahid Kalantari Port continued without interruption. Iranian media noted that the maritime traffic control tower is a civilian facility used primarily for vessel traffic management, maritime safety, and search-and-rescue coordination.
