Second Airstrike on Iranshahr Airport

Mehr News reported that local sources described renewed strikes on Iranshahr Airport, with explosions heard at the flight operations building, runway, and meteorology station, and a smoke column visible over the city. Ecoiran/Tasnim and Baztab both reported residents heard three heavy explosions near the airport and described it as a heavy attack, while stating that damage assessment was still pending, with armed forces operational personnel on-site. This is reported as a renewed/repeat strike on the same airport previously hit on 18 Tir (9 July 2026), when a strike on the flight operations and meteorology buildings killed one person, meteorology staffer Khaled Ghaderi, who was on duty at the time .
