Strike on Shahed Imam Reza Boys' School, Khomein

On March 16, 2026, Shahed Imam Reza Boys' School in Khomein was struck by a projectile during U.S.-Israeli attacks on the city. The school was destroyed, and several nearby residential homes were also damaged. The Deputy Governor of Markazi Province confirmed that a projectile struck the school and caused damage to both the school and surrounding homes.

The school is located in Moallem Township on Imam Reza Street in Khomein. The attack occurred in the early morning. There were three injured people, including two treated as outpatients and one transferred for further medical care.

The attack was part of a broader series of attacks on Khomein on March 16, during which multiple areas of the city were struck, with residential areas accounting for a substantial part of the reported damage.
