Airstrike on Residential Buildings, Tatnak Village, Buin Zahra
13 Mar 2026 · 12:45
Tatnak Village, Buin Zahra, Qazvin
Perpetrator: USA + Israel
Stage 1 · Reported
Description
On March 13, 2026, U.S.-Israeli forces attacked Tatenak, a small village in the Dashtabi district of Buin Zahra County, Qazvin Province. The attack struck residential homes in the village, which had a population of fewer than 20 households. The local governor described the area as entirely civilian and said there was no military or paramilitary presence in the village.
IRNA initially reported that two civilians were killed and six others injured. Three residential homes were reported completely destroyed, while three additional homes sustained damage assessed at more than 50 percent.
A later Fars News report, published on March 18, stated that three civilians had been killed in the attack and that 11 residential homes had been destroyed. This represents a discrepancy with the initial IRNA assessment, both in the reported death toll and the extent of residential destruction.
