Description
On March 5, 2026, an airstrike in Mahabad damaged Tarbiyat Cinema and the nearby Iranian Red Crescent building. Iranian reports documented extensive damage to the two buildings. The reports also said that one person was killed and several others were injured in the attack, including a Red Crescent aid worker who was transferred to Imam Khomeini Hospital in Mahabad for treatment.
