First Strike on Chabahar Maritime Traffic Control Tower

According to the General Department of Ports and Maritime Administration of Sistan and Baluchestan Province, the Maritime Traffic Control tower at Chabahar Port was struck on July 9, 2026. The strike caused structural damage to the tower but, according to the authorities, did not damage operational equipment or result in casualties. Officials stated that cargo handling and other port operations at Shahid Beheshti Port and Shahid Kalantari Port continued without interruption.
