Airstrike on Anti-Narcotics Police Building, Zanjan Street, Tehran

A pre-noon airstrike hit an anti-narcotics police building on Zanjan Street in Tehran, damaging the adjacent Shahid Abbas Rased (Yas) elementary school and neighboring residential buildings. Two people were killed.

Strike on Mershon Intersection Bridge

The available reports document damage to the school but do not report casualties among students or school staff.

Strike on Shahrak-e-Shahid Boroujerdi, Tehran

On the morning of Wednesday 13 Esfand 1404 (March 4, 2026), three missiles struck the civilian residential complex of Shahrak Shahid Boroujerdi in southeastern Tehran, collapsing apartment blocks and killing at least 20 residents. Eyewitnesses described bodies strewn across the compound. No military installation was present in the targeted area. The complex housed families including women and children.

Attack on IRIS Dena

IRIS Dena was returning from the International Fleet Review 2026 and the multinational MILAN-26 exercise, both hosted by the Indian Navy at Visakhapatnam from 15 to 25 February 2026. On the early morning of 4 March 2026, the Iranian Navy frigate IRIS Dena (F-75), a Moudge-class light frigate of the Islamic Republic of Iran Navy (IRIN) Southern Fleet, was struck by a torpedo and sank in international waters of the Indian Ocean, approximately 19 nautical miles (35 km) south of Galle, Sri Lanka. A U.S. Navy nuclear-powered fast-attack submarine fired the weapon.

Airstrikes Targeting the Building of the Secretariat of the Assembly of Experts, Qom

Israeli airstrikes targeted the building of the Secretariat of the Assembly of Experts located in nearby a residential area next to Resalat Square in Qom. In addition to the heavy damage to the building, a number of nearby residential buildings suffered damage.

Strike Near Shohada-ye Khalij-e Fars Hospital, Bushehr

The Shohada-ye Khalij-e Fars Educational & Medical Center in Bushehr, the province's main public teaching hospital, sustained severe damage from multiple missile and bomb strikes during the US-Israeli military campaign, forcing its complete and immediate shutdown. Children were being treated in the pediatric ward at the time of the attack.

Strike on Allameh Helli 5 High School, Tehran

On March 2, 2026, Allameh Helli 5 High School in Tehran was struck in an air attack during the U.S.-Israeli military campaign against Iran. The school, a SAMPAD institution for highly talented students located on Iranshahr Street near Ferdowsi Square, sustained extensive damage. Dehkhoda Hall, which was used for examinations and student assemblies, was completely destroyed, while the basement housing the physics, biology, chemistry, and electrical laboratories was also destroyed and cleared. The main school building remained standing but could no longer be used. No students were at the school when it was struck. According to the school's deputy principal, the attack occurred at approximately 2:00 p.m. on March 2, after an earlier attack on the school on March 1 had prompted officials to dismiss the students and close the school. Only a male and a female caretaker were present at the time, and neither was seriously injured. The school had 349 students, whose education subsequently continued through online classes and examinations while an alternative location was considered for in-person instruction.

Strike in Sarabeleh, Chardavol

According to the Governor of Chardavol, majority of the martyrs and wounded in these attacks were civilians including local businessmen and ordinary citizens.

Strike Near Shahid Mahalati Elementary School

On March 1, 2026, Shahid Mahalati Elementary School on Iran Street in Tehran was damaged during a U.S-Israeli attack on the surrounding residential area. The blast wave shattered windows throughout the school and damaged a number of classroom desks. No deaths or injuries at the school were reported, and the precise extent of the damage was still being assessed at the time of reporting.

On March 1, 2026, Motahari Hospital in Tehran was affected by the same series of missile attacks that impacted the nearby Khatam al-Anbia and Valiasr hospitals.

On March 1, 2026, Valiasr Hospital in Tehran was affected by the same series of missile attacks that also impacted the nearby Khatam al-Anbia and Motahari hospitals. The hospital was temporarily forced to suspend operations following the attacks.

Strike Near Khatam al-Anbia Hospital, Tehran

On March 1, 2026, several missiles struck near Khatam al-Anbia Hospital in Tehran, damaging parts of the hospital. The hospital is located near Valiasr and Motahari hospitals, which were also affected by the same series of missile attacks in the area.

Airstrike on Azarshahr Post Office

During the Ramadan War, an airstrike struck the Azarshahr Post Office in East Azerbaijan Province, killing postal worker Mahdi Mousapour while he was on duty. He was one of at least six civilians killed in the Azarshahr and Ajabshir districts in the same wave of attacks attributed to US-Israeli forces.

Damage to Golestan Palace UNESCO World Heritage Site

On the night of March 1–2, 2026, US-Israeli strikes on Arg Square in central Tehran caused severe blast-wave and shrapnel damage to Golestan Palace — Tehran's only UNESCO World Heritage Site. The 400-year-old palace's orsi windows, wooden doors, mirrored ceilings, the Hall of the Marble Throne, and decorative glasswork were destroyed or badly damaged. UNESCO, Iran's Ministry of Cultural Heritage, and international heritage bodies condemned the attack as a violation of the 1954 Hague Convention.
