In the pre-dawn hours of 13 June 2025 (Day 1 of the Twelve-Day War), an Israeli missile struck the Dot One tower at Jahan Koudak intersection in Tehran's Vanak district, destroying the upper floors of the building. In the pre-dawn hours of 13 June 2025, an Israeli airstrike struck a residential apartment building on Haji Sadeghi Street in Tehran's Narmak neighborhood, The strike killed Dr. Ahmadreza Zolfaghari, his wife Mahnaz Mousaei, and their son Mohammad, and left at least 5 dead and 20 wounded at the scene, all confirmed civilians by IRIB's correspondent.
