Strike Near Shahid Hamedani Elementary School

Shahid Hamedani is a boys' elementary school in Tehran's District 7, in the Niloufar Square area. A March 6 report by ISNA described it as another elementary school in Tehran that had been damaged during the attacks. Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Esmail Baghaei, identified the school as having been targeted by U.S.-Israeli forces and released footage showing the damaged facility.

Subsequent visual reporting by Tabnak, published on March 12, 2026, documented the evidence of the attack near the school.

A later report from the school site described the extent of the destruction in greater detail. Approximately 90% of the school was damaged by the blast wave. Sections of the roof had collapsed, walls had developed cracks, windows had been shattered, and the school's grass playing field had been hit by shrapnel.
