Black Hawk fires on nomads near Nasrabad, killing 10

In the course of the combat search and rescue (CSAR) operation conducted by the US military in Isfahan Province, operatives on board a Black Hawk helicopter fired machine guns targeting individuals moving on the ground.¹ Reports allege that during this operation, US forces fired on nomads from the Nasrabad Jarqavieh region of Isfahan province. The reports state that 10 members of the Arab Mokhtari family were killed in the attack.²

Apart from the civilians killed in this attack, another 18 military and security personnel belonging to Iran's armed forces were killed in this incident.³ On 7 April 2026, a funeral procession was held for the civilians killed in this incident.⁴ [6a174cb936cc28112354f3d0]
