Airstrikes on Residential Areas Adjacent to Tactical Air Base No. 2, Tabriz

From the first hours of 13 June 2025, Israeli forces carried out repeated strikes on the Tabriz area throughout the Twelve-Day War. Areas around Tabriz were struck by Israeli drone and missile attacks. Due to the active air defense in the city, many of the attacks were neutralized. Confirmed Israeli targets in Tabriz included the Tactical Air Base No. 2 (Pāygāh-e Tāktiki-ye Dovvom). The Director General of Crisis Management of East Azerbaijan confirmed 2 people killed and 6 injured following Israeli attacks on Tabriz, this is the provincial authority's minimum confirmed figure for Day 1. The Kbnanews composite news digest placed the total provincial death toll at 18 killed and 35 wounded in East Azerbaijan Province by the time of the broader war tally. No prior warning was issued to residents.
