Airstrike on a Residential Building, Angoz Village, Khorramabad

In the early hours of March 10, 2026, US.-Israeli forces struck the residential home of the Bazgir family in Angoz village, Khorramabad County, Lorestan Province. According to the Lorestan governor, the home was hit by two missiles. The attack killed four members of the family, including a pregnant woman whose unborn fetus also died as a result of the strike.

The report by Mehr News described the victims as members of the Bazgir family and said that Shokr Ali Bazgir, a worker, was the only surviving member of the family.

IRNA subsequently reported that the bodies of five members of the family had been buried in Khorramabad. Its account clarifies that four members of the family were killed at the residential home in Angoz. It separately reports that Mehdi Bazgir, another member of the family, was killed in an attack on the Khorramabad–Borujerd freeway that same night. IRNA also identifies Roqieh Bazgir, a health worker affiliated with Lorestan University of Medical Sciences, among those killed in the attacks.
