Their story
Maryam Parakandehdel, along with her daughter, Fatemeh Zahra Akbari, was returning from visiting her niece who had just given birth to a child. She and her daughter were in the vehicle of Sogand Dardmand—her niece’s daughter—and Abdolrahim—Sogand’s husband—when they were killed in an attack on a bridge near the village of Nimeh Kar in Hormozgan.
