Their story
Mahna Zarei – was a first-grade student at Shajarah Tayyibah girls' elementary school in Minab. She was killed along with her classmates on the first day of the war during a US attack. Due to the intensity of the attack, her face was unrecognizable, and her family identified her by her backpack. Her family immediately went to the school after hearing the sound of the explosion and missile fire, and upon arrival, they began clearing the rubble and searching for the children alongside other families. They hoped to pull their children out from under the rubble alive. Mahna's body was found at 7 PM, while her face was unrecognizable.
