Their story
Hananah was one of the students at Shajarah Tayyebeh school in Minab who was killed during the attack on the school on the first day of the war.Hananah was not dusty, not burnt, and her clothes were not like those of the children under the rubble. She only had a small, lentil-sized spot on her cheek. It seems the heavy blast wave caused her cardiac arrest.
After hearing the sound of the first explosion near the school, the students left their classrooms in fear and panic. While they were in the school hallway, the first attack on the school occurred, and the students were trapped under the rubble. The first missile hit the principal's office, completely destroying and collapsing it. One of the reasons for the high number of male student martyrs was that the rubble and fire from the girls' school fell on them.
She studied at this school with her sister, Reyhaneh. She told the media: "In those moments, I was worried about my younger sister, who was a first-grade student at the same school. Our classroom was near the office. After the missile hit, I saw scenes of students' bodies piled on top of each other. One girl had glass embedded in her eye, another girl was completely burned. Finally, with a few other surviving students, we decided to cross over the rubble via a certain route to get to safety, but I could only cry and call for my sister. When I reached the bottom, I saw the boys' school, where a horrific amount of rubble had fallen on them. When I got down, the mother of one of the students saw me, screamed, and ran away. I hadn't seen my own condition and didn't know what had happened to me. The students' parents were rushing to the rubble of the school, crying. I was waiting for my aunt because her son was also at the school, and she used to pick us up every day. Finally, my aunt arrived at the school, but she didn't recognize me at first; I was so wounded and covered in dirt that she didn't recognize me. I only asked about my sister, but my aunt hadn't seen her either. Then they took me to the hospital. The hospital was very crowded; full of students, parents, and teachers. At the hospital, they connected three IV drips to me until my father finally arrived. My first question was, 'Did you find my sister?' But my father didn't answer; he just cried. I cried with him and said, 'God, I only have one sister, and I ask her from you.' Then they said the hospital might be attacked, and sounds could be heard. They started evacuating the hospital, and I was thinking about my sister even while running. I was discharged from the hospital and went home. The next day, they found my sister, but they didn't tell me anything. I just saw everyone sitting around my mother, crying. I only asked my mother, 'What happened to my sister?' and my mother said, 'She went to heaven.'
