Fatemeh Asgari Minabi

Their story

Fatemeh Asgari Minabi was a member of the staff at the Shajareh Tayyebeh school in Minab and was killed on the day of the attack on the school. Just minutes before the school was bombed, she had spoken to her mother on the phone about their plans to travel to Mashhad together. Immediately after their brief conversation, the sound of an explosion echoed through the city, and her mother rushed toward the school to find her. The family's search continued until late that night but was unsuccessful. Ali, Fatemeh's brother, was also a P.E. teacher at the same school and had left the building just minutes before the attack. He knew all the students at the school and identified many of the bodies.
