Danial Faghirdoust

Their story

Danial Faghihdoust—a fifth-grade student at the Shajareh Tayyebeh Primary School in Minab—was killed during a US attack on the school on February 28, 2026. He and two other students from the school were members of a soccer academy, and all three lost their lives in the attack. On the morning of the attack, his father was at his workplace in Bandar Abbas when his wife called to tell him that the school had been hit. Following that call, the father rushed toward Minab. Every time he tried to contact the school staff, their phones were all turned off. When he saw the school, he lost hope that his son had survived. Danial's classroom was on the ground floor, and the section where his class was located had been destroyed.
