Taher Ayatollahi: A Laboratory technician Who Had Just Become a Prominent Employee of the University Laboratory
In the early hours of Friday, June 13, 2025, Taher was killed in his home on Patrice Lumumba Street when a missile struck his neighborhood during the Israeli attack on Tehran.
Taher Ayatollahi had dedicated 24 years of his life as a medical laboratory scientist at the Rasoul Akram Educational and Medical Complex in Tehran.
He was known among his colleagues for his professionalism, reliability, and deep commitment to his work—qualities that earned him the title of Outstanding Laboratory Employee of the Year at Iran University of Medical Sciences earlier this year.
His sudden and tragic death has left a painful void at Rasoul Akram Hospital, where he spent almost half his life serving.
