Description

Around midday on Saturday, 14 June 2025 (24 Khordad 1404), an Israeli missile struck the production facility of Farda Motors automotive company in the city of Borujerd, Lorestan Province. The strike triggered massive explosions and a fire that spread rapidly across several production halls. According to the company's official public relations statement, at least two employees working on the production lines were killed and 33 others were wounded. Three factory hangars sustained severe structural damage. Emergency, rescue, and firefighting teams deployed in large numbers to the site. The scale of the blaze initially made full damage assessment impossible. The deputy head of support operations at Farda Motors stated to Rouydad24 that the company had no connection whatsoever to any military or defense institution, calling the attack a strike on a civilian target.
