Airstrike at Divandarreh Post Office

On Saturday morning, 16 Esfand 1404 (6 March 2026), at approximately 10:23 AM local time, an airstrike hit an IRGC base on 16-Metri Street in the city of Divandarreh, Kurdistan Province. The Divandarreh Post Office, located on the same street, was struck and heavily damaged in the attack. Three civilians were killed: Hamed Saeidi, a post office employee; Samira Shafiei, a resident of the village of Kani Sefid (Ahmadkar); and Fereydoun Amini, a resident of the village of Chulbalagh. A fourth civilian, Soleiman Mollavisseh of the village of Zaki Beig, had been killed in an earlier airstrike on Divandarreh on Monday, 10 Esfand 1404 (2 March 2026). Defapress, the Iranian state defence news agency, separately published a report and video on Saeidi's death.
