Airstrike at Azarshahr Post Office

During the early phase of the Ramadan airstrikes attributed to US-Israeli forces struck multiple locations across Azarshahr and Ajabshir districts in East Azerbaijan Province. One of these strikes hit the Azarshahr Post Office, killing Mahdi Mousapour, a letter carrier employed by the National Post Company of Iran, while he was on duty at the building. In total, six civilians were killed across the Azarshahr and Ajabshir districts in this wave of attacks, identified as: Salmān Kārgar, Mubīn Āsheghi, Hojjat Kolini, Ali Samadian, Afshin Pashazadeh, and Mahdi Mousapour. Provincial officials from the East Azerbaijan Governorate and the Martyrs' Foundation visited the families of all six victims. The attack on the post office a civilian public service building was reported by ILNA as a strike against civilian infrastructure.
