Pouria Azarmidokhtian

Their story

Pouria Azarmidokhtian, along with his brother Pedram and two of their friends, was killed on March 7 in an airstrike on Tehran in the area of Niayesh Highway. According to their family, the intensity of the explosion caused severe damage to the bodies, and for this reason, the identification process was not simple, leaving the families unaware of their fate for nearly a month. Consequently, until the identification procedures and DNA tests were completed, the bodies of these two brothers were carried in public ceremonies and gatherings in Tehran as unknowns, and finally, after their identities were confirmed, they were laid to rest on April 9, 2026, in Plot 42 of Behesht-e Zahra.
