Mehrsa and three members of her family were killed during an attack on their house in the city of Baharestan, Robat Karim County. The intensity of the explosion caused the bed to fall over Mehrsa's figure; for this reason, she was intact and identifiable. According to her family members, the attack occurred at 2:40 AM on Monday, and the shockwave from the explosion caused 9 other residents of neighboring houses to be killed as well.
