Their story

Hamid Mirzaei Mianrud, a postman in northeast Tehran, was killed at home on March 8th during a missile strike on a residential area in the Resalat neighborhood.

He lived in a 20-unit building with his family and relatives—a building that was reduced to little more than a pile of rubble after the missile hit. His body, a postal worker with 20 years of service, was recovered from the debris more than a week later.

His post office was only two streets away from his home—so close that the blast also caused significant damage to the office building.
