Fatemeh Rostami was killed on March 18, 2026, during an attack on a house in Tehran, along with seven other members of her family. In this attack, in addition to her two young children (Mohammad-Hassan Kialha, 7, and Mohammad-Ali Kialha, a 20-day-old infant), her brother Mehdi Rostami, her brother's wife Manzar sadat Zarabadi, and her three nieces and nephews—Ali Rostami, 13, Fatemeh Rostami, 9, and Zeinab Rostami, 7—were also killed.
