Amirali Cherghi

Their story

Amirali Cheraghi was a 14-year-old student who was killed in an attack on Borujerd on March 7, 2026. According to media reports, the attack took place at around 6 p.m. and a police station was targeted, while a missile also struck the city. Amirali had been at his aunt’s house and took a taxi to his home to collect his books and prepare for the next day’s online classes. The taxi was stopped at a red light when the Borujerd police station was targeted and a bomb struck it, killing Amirali and the taxi driver instantly. Amirali was the youngest child in his family and had one sister. He was due to travel to Tehran to take part in a football trial.
