Their story
Ahmad Aghababaei and his wife, Maryam Ebrahimi, were killed in an attack on their residential neighborhood on Damavand Street in Tehran. They had gone with their two children, Kian and Bardia, to Maryam’s family home for Sizdah Bedar on April 2. On April 4, they decided to return to their own home, although they had previously planned to stay at Maryam’s family home until the end of the war. They were killed in the attack on their neighborhood, while their two children survived.
