Armin Bakooie: He was just a 16-year-old teenager

Armin was a 16-year-old bright student, full of dreams and determination. Studying in the experimental sciences, he was preparing to take the university entrance exam next year, hoping to become a doctor. Armin’s life was tragically cut short in an explosion that destroyed his home and took the lives of all four members of his family. He was found just a few buildings away from where he lived.

Armin’s uncle, a firefighter, rushed to the scene as soon as he heard about the attack in Narmak. In a heartfelt interview with Hammihan Media Group, he shared memories of Armin. “Armin loved football. He knew the names of all the players by heart. But more than that, he had a deep passion for medicine. He used to say, ‘I want to be a doctor or a surgeon,’ and he meant it. He was so sure about his path.”

“He was only 16, but already he had set his goals clearly. That gave me hope. I was proud to see such determination in someone so young, and I always encouraged him to follow his dreams,” he added.
